Quaint pub with a good selection of English beers. in summer, sporting events are also broadcast outdoors. I like to be here

Very pretty and typically English. Unfortunately only 4 stars, because you can smoke inside, although they have a terrace in summer

Good for watching sports while drinking a beer or two. So-so service and corona regulations are not adhered to in an exemplary manner

Nice people and good beer; plenty of football

This is my German local. I have met so many German friends at this pub. The couple that look after it are good people.

Really nice bar with friendly staff, moderate prices and great pub atmosphere. The selection of international beers is very good and the food is tasty too. Well filled, especially at important football matches, and always worth a visit.

Completely smoky and therefore a pain for non-smokers at concerts. Service was great, toilets unfortunately poor for soap, towels and garbage disposal. Eating delicious only uncomfortable in the Piffpaff.

Drinks are good, food is good as well at reasonable prices. Nice, cosy place, upstairs bar has not a lot of room, so it can get very packed. Especially when there's a sports event. Downstairs is only open on special oozes occasions, so keep your eyes peeled any announcements on local websites or Facebook. Last thing, upstairs is always a smoker's pub, so keep that in mind.

Nice pub. It is allowed to smoke. Always basement can also be celebrated well.

Foods great

Although mainly regulars visit this pub, one nevertheless feels immediately welcome, even as a non-native. The atmosphere is very cozy, the prices are moderate in my opinion, and the whiskey card is top. When I'm in Magdeburg again, I like to come back. Keep it up!

You feel right at home here. The service is great and personal and the burgers are exactly as they should be. The establishment itself is rustic and very pub like. Or at least what internationally passes as a pub. It is a smoking establishment, though, which might come in handy or might discourage patrons. In any case it surprisingly adds to the overall feeling of the bar.

The cheeseburger with bacon was very tasty and filling. It was crowned with the very tasty beer of the month! I had to drink three of them right away. 22 € - full of swings. What more does one want?

Very good burgers and we could watch the womens soccer semifinal when we ate. Sadly Sweden lost to The Netherlands.

The company is so welcome and we love the locals and the food is amazing

Always worth a visit

Busy and very "puby" - often full and loud. A little piece of England right here in Magdeburg.

The music is freaking loud. And everything is smelling like smoke.

I just can say that I LOVE so much their BURGERS! We were there after disappointed dinner at one American Restaurant in Pfahlberg and was satisfied after that :)

They have a good selection but the place is very small and with the classic pub setting it feels cluttered

Best Burger & Beer in Town!

An Irish pub with an English flag hanging in the window - oh well. There was an ale on tap which is appreciated and fairly uncommon for Germany but after ordering a pint it took over ten minutes for the beer to be served because the - otherwise also somewhat grumpy - waitress found it more important to chat with some friends at the bar. The food I ordered was okay but considering it took about forty minutes to be served wasn't really worth the wait.
